Sustainable Produce

One key advantage of sourcing macadamia nuts from our farm is our commitment to sustainable farming practices. We prioritize environmentally friendly methods that promote biodiversity, conserve water resources, and minimize our environmental impact.

Carbon Sequestration

We estimate that once fully grown, our orchards will sequester over 200 tonnes of carbon every year. Macadamia trees are excellent carbon sinks, absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere and storing it in their wood, leaves, and root systems.

Water Conservation

Our farm employs efficient irrigation techniques that minimise water waste. The natural mulch from macadamia husks and leaves helps retain soil moisture, reducing the need for supplemental watering.

Biodiversity

Our orchards provide habitat for a variety of local wildlife. We maintain natural corridors between planting blocks and avoid harmful pesticides, creating a balanced ecosystem that supports both our trees and the local environment.

Community Impact

We employ approximately 30 managers and field workers, contributing to the local economy and providing stable employment in the Chipinge region.
